The Illinois Association of REALTORS® gives the honor annually to a member who shows outstanding integrity and dedication to excellence in enhancing the profession.
- Kay Wirth of RE/MAX Unlimited Northwest in Crystal Lake is named 2012 REALTOR® of the Year at the Illinois Association of REALTORS® Public Policy Meeting in East Peoria, Ill., on Wednesday.
Wirth started her real estate career more than 25 years ago and has been active at the local, state and national level.
She’s served as president of the Illinois State Women’s Council of REALTORS®, is an RPAC Major Investor and serves on the IAR RPAC Board of Trustees.
Wirth is a member and past president of the McHenry County Association of REALTORS® and is a member and past president of the Illinois Association of REALTORS.®
She’s served as vice chair of the national Federal Housing Policy Committee and is on the National Association of REALTORS® board of directors.
Wirth will be honored at the REALTOR® of the Year banquet March 28 in Springfield
