Morning Minute: Cheaper to buy than rent in many U.S. cities, says Trulia

On average, buying a home is 45 percent cheaper than renting in the nation’s 100 largest metropolitan areas, according to a new rent vs. buy report from Trulia. The benefit of buying is even higher in Chicago, where it is 50 percent cheaper to buy if you plan on staying in the home for at least 7 years.
