Morning Minute: Mortgage rates stable, hover near record lows, Freddie Mac

Mortgage rates remained relatively unchanged this week with a 30-year,  fixed-rate mortgage averaging 3.55 percent and a 15-year, fixed-rate mortgage averaging 2.86 percent, Freddie Mac reported today. USA Today covers the news in, “Mortgage rates steady, continue to help housing recover.”
