Land use, real estate practices topic of IAR meeting with Chinese delegation

The Illinois Association of REALTORS® and Inland Real Estate Corp. welcomed a visiting Chinese government delegation from Guangzhou Thursday at the Inland Real Estate headquarters in Oak Brook to discuss Illinois commercial and residential real estate markets as well as land use and real estate practices in Illinois.

Among those in attendance were Tony Casaccio, president, Inland Real Estate Corp.; Brian Bernardoni, IAR local government affairs director for Chicago; IAR President Michael D. Oldenettel; Sharon Gorrell, IAR Housing Policy Advisor; Joe Alexander, director of business development, Farnsworth Engineering and Architecture; and REALTOR® Nancy Suvarnamani, president, Century 21 S.G.R., Chicago.

Jon Broadbooks is Director of Communications for the Illinois Association of REALTORS®. He supervises and carries out the implementation of the communications programs for the Association. He directs and supervises the Communications staff.
