Illinois YPN group gets national recognition

Illinois REALTORS Deena Zimmerman and Christopher Mitchell accept the 2012 State YPN Network of the Year award in Orlando on Friday, Nov. 9.

Let’s give it up for the Illinois YPN group, which won the top state award as network of the year from the National Association of REALTORS® in Orlando Friday.

The state network was honored at a YPN (Young Professionals Network) event held at Universal City Walk. During 2012 the YPN group in Illinois has held a number of events, including a ReBarCamp event in St. Charles which featured discussions on everything from new technology to professionalism.

Accepting the award on behalf of some of the more than 30 Illinois YPN members in attendance at the event were Deena Zimmerman, a commercial broker at Jameson Commercial Real Estate in Chicago and 2012 YPN chair, and Christopher Mitchell, a broker with Home Buyers Relocation Services in Belleville and 2012 Illinois YPN vice chair.
