Morning Minute: Mortgage applications for new purchases at yearly high

Mortgage applications for new home purchases rose 0.1 percent, marking the fourth week of increases and a high for the year, according to the latest index from the Mortgage Bankers Association. Reuters has the details in its article, “Mortgage applications rose last week: MBA.”
