Quinn signs changes to RELA into law

Gov. Pat Quinn signed a bill on Friday that provided clean-up changes to the Real Estate License Act.

Senate Bill 1655 received unanimous support in both chambers of the General Assembly earlier this spring.

It clarifies and cleans up portions of the act, including adding a provision which will allow a person holding a managing broker’s license to exchange that license for a broker’s license.
