Affordable Care Act: What Does Oct. 1 Mean to You?

In a short video, Illinois Association of REALTORS® Chief Legal Counsel Stephen J. Bochenek and Legal Hotline Attorney Betsy Urbance share information on the Oct. 1, Affordable Care Act deadline requiring employers to provide notice as to the existence of the program’s health insurance markets or exchanges. Each month, Bochenek and Urbance cover legal issues  as part of one of the association’s long-running webinar series for IAR members.

  1. Thank you for the information. I did not know that an employer must give disclosure of the access to health care insurance through the available providers.
