Morning Minute: Tips for working a lower inventory, more competitive housing market

An article in the latest Chicago Agent Magazine, “Tips for Realtors: How to Deal with Low Inventory in a High Competition Market,” offers some practical tips for REALTORS® dealing with the new real estate market normal: tighter inventories and more competition.

Here are a few ideas, but read the full article for more:

  • Intensify your focus on getting more listings, whether they be expired, a new niche, etc.
  • Think about organizing a “networking” event to bring related industry professionals (lenders, attorneys, others) together.
  • Re-evaluate and reorganize your technology efforts.
