YPN/WCR event raises $2,000 for Murphysboro Habitat for Humanity build

Members of the Young Professionals Network and the Womens Council of REALTOR® held a reception at Celtic Mist pub in Springfield to raise money for one of three Habitat for Humanity home builds IAR is working on this year.

The organizations raised about $2,000, which will be earmarked for a home being built in Murphysboro, Ill., beginning on Friday.

The association still needs volunteers for the build, and others in Springfield and Aurora later this summer. Sign up here for any one of the three builds.

Those participating will get a free T-shirt.
