Morning Minute: Downtowns seeing a resurgence in residential and commercial interest

After years of moving to the suburbs, more people are now looking to live in downtown urban areas and retailers and other commercial businesses are following in order to reach the growing residential segment, according to a recent REJournals article, “The resurgence of downtowns.” More Midwestern metro areas are seeing an increase in downtown growth, the publication reports.
