As Illinois REALTORS® gathered in Springfield Tuesday to lobby their Illinois legislators for the association’s Capitol Conference, Senate Minority Leader Christine Radogno spoke to a crowd of RPAC Major Investors and told them of the important role they play in political advocacy.

REALTORS® have the same goals for their real estate clients as she has her for her legislative constituents: to build strong communities, Radogno said.

Radogno, who has represented the 41st Legislative District in Cook, DuPage and Will counties since 1997, said the REALTOR® organization supported her in her first election. They were a good fit then and continue to be a good now, she said.

She said the state is at a critical juncture right now and every day that the state is without a budget is costing the state and its overall economy money, which could impact Illinois property owners.
